The ESAB OK Tigrod 12.64 is a copper-coated G4Si1/ER70S-6 TIG rod designed for Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) applications. It is specifically formulated for welding general structural and engineering steels, including unalloyed and low-alloy carbon-manganese steels.

Compared to the OK Tigrod 12.61, this variant features a slightly higher silicon and manganese content, which enhances the strength of the weld metal. The elevated silicon level also reduces sensitivity to surface impurities, resulting in smooth, sound welds with improved mechanical properties.
