Harris® 600 Powder Brazing Flux is a general-purpose brazing flux designed for oxy-fuel braze-welding applications. It is suitable for use with low fuming bronze and nickel silver rods on metals such as steel, copper, and cast iron.
This flux is applied by preheating the rod end and dipping it into the flux, which then adheres to the heated rod, facilitating a clean and effective brazing process. It operates effectively within an activity temperature range of 1400°F to 2200°F (760°C to 1204°C), making it versatile for various brazing tasks.
Packaged in a 1 lb. (453g) can, the Harris 600 flux meets the ANSI/AWS Class A5.31 Type FB3-J standard and complies with EU Reach and RoHS directives, ensuring quality and environmental safety.
