The Lincoln Electric Conarc 49C 3.2mm welding electrode is a low hydrogen arc electrode designed for professional welders requiring reliable, high-quality welds in demanding environments. This electrode is ideal for site welding, pipe welding, and general-purpose applications where strong, durable welds are essential.
This electrode features extremely low hydrogen content, ensuring excellent weld integrity and minimizing the risk of hydrogen-induced cracking. It offers reliable impact toughness down to -40°C and good crack tip opening displacement (CTOD) performance at -10°C. The Conarc 49C is suitable for offshore welding applications where nickel alloying is prohibited, providing 100-120% recovery with excellent X-ray soundness for defect-free welds.
Welding positions supported include all except vertical down, making it versatile for various welding tasks. The electrode conforms to industry standards AWS A5.1: E7018-1 H4R and ISO 2560-A: E 46 4 B 32 H5, ensuring compatibility and quality assurance.
