The Lincoln Electric Conarc 49C welding electrode is a low hydrogen, basic electrode designed for demanding welding applications. It is suitable for professionals requiring reliable weld quality with excellent mechanical properties and soundness.

This electrode offers extremely low hydrogen content, ensuring reduced risk of weld cracking. It delivers reliable impact toughness down to -40°C and good crack tip opening displacement (CTOD) performance at -10°C. The Conarc 49C is ideal for offshore welding where nickel alloying is prohibited, providing 100 to 120% recovery and excellent pipe welding characteristics. Its welds exhibit excellent X-ray soundness, making it suitable for critical structural applications.

Typical applications include site welding, pipe welding, and general purpose fabrication. It supports all welding positions except vertical down, enhancing versatility across various projects.
