The Lincoln Cruiser Sub Arc Tractor is a self-propelled, modular welding carriage designed for submerged arc welding (SAW) applications. It is ideal for professionals working on extensive butt and fillet joints in industries such as bridge construction, barge decking, large tank fabrication, and shipbuilding.

Paired with the Power Wave AC/DC 1000 SD power source, this tractor delivers deposition rates up to 30 lbs (13.61 kg) per hour, enhancing productivity on large-scale welding projects. Its robust construction features a sturdy welded base frame and a substantial steel mast built to withstand daily use on construction sites. The simple cast wheels are equipped with high-temperature, slip-resistant rubber tires for reliable operation in demanding environments.

The design includes a robust tube and clamp system for trouble-free feeding component mounting, adjustable extended length outriggers for precise tractor guidance, and an advanced removable control pendant made from lightweight, impact-resistant aluminum. This user interface allows operators to save welding procedures, apply limits, and lock out controls as needed for safety and consistency.

Common expendable parts such as drive rolls, nozzles, contact tips, and wire straighteners are compatible with MAXsa submerged arc wire drives, simplifying maintenance and part replacement.
