Product Details
The LINCOLN FLEXFEED 84 is a robust wire feeder designed for industrial welding applications, suitable for operators requiring consistent and reliable wire feeding over extended conduit runs. It supports large-diameter wires, accommodating up to 3/32 inch (2.4 mm) solid wire and .120 inch (3.2 mm) cored wire, exceeding typical competitor capacities.
This wire feeder features advanced engineering with a rugged cast aluminum feed plate and encapsulated wire drive circuit board, ensuring durability and protection against environmental factors. The patented tool-less drive rolls and split wire guides facilitate quick adjustments and maintenance while preventing wire birdnesting, enhancing operational efficiency.
Process control is enhanced through digital presets for voltage and wire feed speed, with the ability to save procedures in up to four user memories. Process limits can be set and secured with a passcode, and real-time display of voltage and current during welding provides precise monitoring.
Safety is integral to the FLEXFEED 84 design, offering models with electrically isolated studs for arc gouging and dual models with Power Path contactors that isolate non-active wire drives and guns. A user-selectable wire retract function physically retracts the wire into the nozzle to prevent operator injury.
The modular design allows configuration flexibility for single, dual, bench, or boom setups, adapting to changing workspace needs. Two wire reel stands are available: standard for up to 44-lb spools and heavy duty for up to 60-lb coils or spools. Additionally, it includes a built-in interface for hard automation integration.
