The 3M Speedglas G5-03 Pro Air TW is a heavy-duty powered air purifying respirator (PAPR) system integrated with an advanced welding helmet, designed for professional welders requiring respiratory protection and enhanced visibility in demanding environments.

This system replaces the Speedglas 9100 Air and features adjustable airflow distribution for customized comfort. It includes a new TAP function for grinding and cutting applications, multiple lens options including variable colour technology, and an extra-large viewing area measuring 73 x 109mm with peripheral side windows for improved field of vision. The ergonomic head harness and optional configurable head and neck covers enhance user comfort and protection. An optional task light is available to improve workpiece visibility.

The G5-03 Pro Air welding helmet incorporates auto-darkening filters (ADFs) with Natural Color Technology. The G5VC ADF allows welders to select warm, cool, or natural colour tones to optimize weld visibility based on lighting and material conditions. The G5TW ADF includes a tack welding mode with an intermediate shade 5 light state to reduce eye strain during tack welding; if no arc is struck within two seconds, the filter reverts to a normal light state of shade 2.5.

The 3M Adflo Powered Air Purifying Respirator system offers high-efficiency particulate respiratory protection in a compact, robust design with an ergonomic, adjustable head suspension. The particulate filter can be stacked with optional Adflo filters (not included) for additional protection against certain vapours or nuisance odours. Audible and visual alarms notify the user of low airflow and low battery charge. The system is available with two auto-darkening lens options (VC and TW) and includes a G5 Series storage and carry bag.
