The UNIMIG Elipse Half Mask M/L is a compact, lightweight reusable respirator designed for professionals who require reliable respiratory protection in welding, fabrication, construction, mining, food processing, and pharmaceutical environments. Engineered to fit the natural contour of the face, this half mask offers enhanced comfort and less restriction compared to traditional full-face masks.
This respirator is approved to AS/NZS 1716:2012 as a P2 reusable respirator, with P3 filters fitted on the half mask for increased filtration efficiency. The mask body is made from medical-grade TPE, conforming to ISO 10993-10:2010 for skin irritation, and is both latex and silicone free, ensuring it is odourless and suitable for sensitive users. The valve body is constructed from durable nylon, with inhalation and exhalation diaphragms in silicone for effective airflow management. A four-point adjustable elasticated head and neck strap with a comfort pad in TPE ensures a secure and comfortable fit during extended use.
The filters utilize a mechanical multi-layer HESPA synthetic media, overmolded and encapsulated in TPE, with an additional layer of carbon-activated impregnated media for enhanced protection against particulates and fumes. This makes the mask suitable for a wide range of hazardous environments, including exposure to metal fumes, ozone, dust, silica, asbestos, concrete, wood, grain, coal dust, and pharmaceutical powders.
