The UNIMIG RAZOR MULTI 230 AC/DC is a versatile 4-in-1 welding machine designed for professionals requiring MIG, AC/DC TIG, and Stick welding capabilities in a single unit. Ideal for a wide range of welding applications, it supports various materials including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, cast iron, silicon bronze, and copper.
This multi-process welder includes essential accessories such as a 4m SB24 MIG torch, 4m ARC TORCHOLOGY T2 TIG torch, 3m twist lock electrode holder, 3m 300 Amp earth clamp and lead, twin gauge argon regulator, quick-connect gas hose, and a 15A to 10A conversion lead. It operates on a 240V single-phase supply with a 15amp plug and features a geared wire drive system for smooth and consistent wire feeding.
Key features include the ability to connect to any 10A or 15A outlet, with output limits of 200A and 230A respectively for MIG welding. The smart fan reduces noise and energy consumption while minimizing contaminants. Power factor correction (PFC) ensures maximum electrical efficiency and voltage fluctuation compensation. The machine offers a job memory function to store up to 20 weld parameter settings, accessible via a 5" color LCD screen with an intuitive user interface.
Designed for off-grid use, it can be powered by generators rated at 8.5kVA (10A mode) or 10kVA (15A mode). The IP21 rating provides protection against finger contact and vertical water spray. Both wired and wireless foot controls are supported for hands-free amperage adjustment, enhancing welding convenience and maneuverability. Dual gas inputs allow simultaneous setup for MIG and TIG gases, reducing setup time when switching processes.
MIG welding capabilities include easy setup by selecting wire, gas, joint type, and material thickness. Adjustable parameters cover pre- and post-gas flow, arc ignition speed, burnback, and inductance for short circuit frequency control. The machine is spool gun ready for aluminum and softer core wires without changing torch or drive roller setup. Crater fill technology ensures smooth weld finishes by ramping down current and voltage at weld end. It supports both gas-shielded and gasless MIG welding with wire sizes from 0.6 to 1.0mm and wire spools of 1kg or 5kg.
TIG welding features include AC/DC high-frequency modes with adjustable parameters such as pre- and post-flow, up and down slopes, pulse, and synergic programs. Advanced functions like Spot Plus, Arc Plus, Tack Plus, and Fusion Plus improve spot welding, arc stability, tack quality, and penetration. High-frequency TIG enables clean aluminum welding with reduced tungsten contamination. Mixed AC/DC welding combines TIG AC and DC for faster speeds and deeper penetration. Heat Control Trigger Mode allows manual current adjustment during welding.
Stick (MMA) welding supports cellulosic electrodes with pulse MMA technology to reduce spatter and improve heat control. Hot Start, Arc Force, and Anti-stick features enhance arc stability, prevent electrode sticking, and improve weld quality. The machine accommodates electrode sizes from 2.5 to 4.0mm.
Specifications include a rated output of 25A/15.3V to 200A/24V (10A mode) and 25A/15.3V to 230A/25.5V (15A mode), duty cycles varying by mode and current, and compliance with AS/NZ60974-1 standards. The unit measures 660mm x 210mm x 330mm, weighs 20kg, and ships at 35.5kg. It features thermal overload protection, VRD, burnback adjustment, and a DINSE connector (35/50).
This welder is backed by a 3-year warranty from UNIMIG Australia, ensuring reliability and support for professional welding applications.
